Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
his new keyboard has all the powerful features and the same quality sounds of the Nord Stage 76/88 note keyboards, except for a 73 note semi-weighted 'waterfall' (square front) keyboard and a more lightweight and compact design. The Nord Stage Compact has the same keyboard feel as our famous Nord Electro and this should be really appealing to organ and synth players. Weighing just under 10kg (9,7kg) makes this a perfect keyboard for the road as well as for serious studio work.

5 out of 5 stars Great product   July 10, 2008

This is something of a niche product and I imagine that people buying this will be people who know exactly what they are looking for. Its not an everyday keyboard for the family and kids to learn scales on, there are plenty of keyboards from Yamaha, Roland, Korg etc for that at a much cheaper price. What you get here is a superb instrument for musicians, especially those who play live gigs. It gives you the basic classic keyboard sounds i.e Hammond/Leslie, Electric Piano, Piano, Synth with such quality and playability that you will be able to leave the real Hammond and Fender Rhodes at home. I am delighted with mine after struggling with Hammond clones for years. The only minus point in my opinion is that the pianos are a little thin in the upper range but that's probably debateable.
