 Endless fun for musicians and gadget lovers alike August 15, 2009

I am a musician and was interested in getting more involved with electronic instruments. Being a fan of Radiohead, I heard about their use of Korg Kaoss Pads in their music. This is the most recent model, and it is without doubt the most fun I have ever had making music. Within minutes of opening it, I was plugged in and creating amazing sounds, simply by talking into a microphone and playing about with the sounds. All you really need to get going is a pair oh headphones and a cheap mic- or you could use some of the in-built samples with which to get creative. I'm not sure how much it differs from the earlier models but I believe that there are quite a few new features. You could put your iPod in here and mess about with one of your favourite tracks, or plug a guitar in to create some really interesting sounds. Whatever you decide to use it for I can assure you that you will not tire of this thing. I let my 11 year-old nephew have a blast on this and he was loving it- the only problem being that afterwards he wanted one. So, all you need is a microphone and headphones to get started, or a couple of aux leads so that you can input sounds from the TV, radio or even your Ipod. Simply put- this is an astounding piece of kit.

I purchased one of these and got sent an imported one. All very well but the Japanese plug won't fit are three pin plug sockets. Recomended converter didnt work either so no go with this. Had to get a refund coz the thing doesn't work.
