5 out of 5 stars Adagio Bass guitar strings   January 4, 2010
Mrs. Elaine Wheeler (UK)
I have been playing bass for about 30 years and have tried many makes of strings over the years. Ive have always used Dean Markley strings or Elites. Ive tried Rotosounds but didnt get on with them. I thought i'd find another make and tried loads, to no avail. I then tried Adagio, researched them on the internet before I bought them, and thought i'd try them out. I can only say that I am amazed at the quality, the sound, the length of time they last, everything. For the price they go for, how can you go wrong. They are easily on par with Elites, Fenders, Warwick etc etc, all for a lot less. I use a GB spitfire bass through either a Markbass rig or an EBS rig, and play at least twice a week playing everything from Ceilidh to pub rock, and they perform perfectly. As long as the quality keeps the same, I shall see no reason to change. Save yourself some money and try a set out. You may be very surprised !!!
